Hi friends, I'm off in the morning to Washington, DC to join the
planned occupation at Freedom Plaza http://october2011.org/. I hope
to eventually have a moment to blog about it and my recent adventures
at the incredibly inspiring International Permaculture Convergence in
Jordan and a swift visit back to Palestine and Israel--yes, they let
me in!
But right now I just want to let you know about a gift I'm offering to
you all. My new book will be out next month--The Empowerment Manual:
A Guide for Collaborative groups, all about group dynamics, power and
process for grassroots groups. Well, I had a lot to say on the
matter, so much so that the manuscript was almost twice as long as it
should have been. To edit it down, we removed one section that could
stand on its own--on how to run meetings and facilitate consensus
decision making. I've now put it up on my website as a free
